CCDS seeks a proactive, compassionate and dedicated individual to join its Student Affairs Office. This role serves as a key liaison in providing comprehensive pastoral care and student support services within the college. The position involves managing pastoral care operations, coordinating closely with relevant university departments, and delivering targeted intervention for at‑risk students facing academic, disciplinary, or personal challenges. The role holder will maintain effective case management systems, produce analytical reports to assess program effectiveness, and work collaboratively across departments to ensure holistic student support. Additionally, the position contributes to fostering student engagement and community building through the coordination of college-wide events and initiatives.

Job Responsibilities
Pastoral Care Management
  • Manage and support pastoral care operations as part of the student care services
  • Support college’s regular meetings with the University Counselling Centre (UCC)
  • Review and update Standard Operating Process (SOPs) and administrative process
  • Provide end-of-semester reports, generate statistics, and manage case documentation
  • Review the effectiveness of pastoral support
Student Support and Coordination
  • Assist in counseling and coordinate with relevant staff and departments to provide holistic pastoral support for ‘at‑risk students’ and referral cases, including:
Academic Performance Cases and Early Intervention
  • Frequent exam Medical Certificate (MC) cases
Appeals and Disciplinary Cases
  • Semester fee waiver appeals
Student Engagement Events
  • Manage and provide support for student engagement events, such as Freshmen Orientation programme and Welcome Back Fiesta
  • Plan, support, and coordinate the execution of the events with the college student committee
  • Support other departmental duties, events, and special projects as assigned
  • Process student activities procurement/claims
Requirements
  • Degree or Diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related discipline
  • At least 2 years of relevant experience, preferably in an educational institution
  • Proficiency in MS Office
  • Knowledge in event management
  • Basic counselling skills and good listener
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to build rapport with staff, students and alumni
  • Ability to multitask, work independently and effectively in a team
  • Meticulous, with strong organisational, analytical and problem‑solving skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and discretion on student records and matters
