Job description
Senior Executive Human Resources – Payroll

In this role, you will play a critical role in ensuring accuracy in end-to-end payroll administration and employee tax processes, with all transactions and submissions aligned with statutory and internal requirements. You will also work closely with key stakeholders to support the deployment and onboarding of sessional lecturers, tutors and supervisors.

Responsibilities:

  • Payroll:
  • Manage the full payroll cycle for all employment (such as full-time, sessional, part-time, temp etc.), including accurate monthly processing, CPF submissions, payroll data consolidation, audit preparation, and government reporting.
  • Prepare and submit month-end payroll reports to internal stakeholders in a timely manner.
  • Liaise with statutory bodies on compliance matters and administer government-related claims.
  • Manage employee tax processes, including annual income tax submissions, tax clearance and advisory support for staff.
  • Administer leave matters, including time-off arrangements and government-paid leave schemes.
  • Sessional (casual lecturers, tutors and supervisors):
  • Coordinate interview arrangements and support the deployment of sessional staff.
  • Issue contracts for sessional appointments.
  • Generating contract for sessional staff.
  • Facilitate onboarding activities, including academic inductions and documentation requirement.
  • Ensure full compliance with MOE, MOM, SSG and accreditation partners on all regulatory and documentation standards.
  • Provide operational and administrative support across HR programs, projects and ongoing initiatives to ensure timely and accurate delivery.

Key selection criteria

  • Bachelor's degree, with strong attention to detail and a passion for working with numbers.
  • At least 4 years of relevant payroll experience.
  • Proficiency in Excel and strong digital literacy.
  • Experience with HRIS platforms is advantageous.

Monthly Remuneration: Commensurate with experience
