A leading healthcare institution in Singapore is seeking a dedicated professional to support their Facility Management & Engineering department in driving Energy Efficiency Sustainability initiatives. The successful candidate will manage compliance with sustainability standards, conduct energy audits, and develop strategies aligned with the hospital's vision for a Net Zero Carbon Emission campus. Candidates should possess a degree in a relevant field and have experience in sustainability and facility management, with strong project management and data analysis skills.
The Job:
You will support the Facility Management & Engineering department in driving Energy Efficiency Sustainability efforts aligned with the hospital's strategies and vision to become a Net Zero Carbon Emission Healthcare Campus.
Your job role will include but not be limited to the following:
Plan, execute and manage Energy Efficiency sustainability initiatives and statutory compliance through close collaboration with government authorities
Perform data analysis, improve operational efficiency, and drive projects on energy optimization, water conservation and recommend system upgrades for ACMV, chilled-water plants, and plumbing
Develop and execute sustainability strategies for SGH facilities
Ensure compliance with Green Mark certification and GreenGov.SG standards
Work with stakeholders to integrate sustainable practices into operations to achieve the hospital's long-term goals
Conduct energy audits (ISO 46001) and water efficiency assessments
Provide technical input for retrofit projects, tender evaluations, and lifecycle cost analysis
Support emergency planning and risk management
Conduct sustainability awareness sessions for staff
Undertake other assignments as required by the department
Job Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering / Facilities Management / Sustainability or Environmental Management with a minimum 2 years’ working experience in sustainability, M&E systems, or facility management (healthcare experience advantageous)
Sound knowledge of Climate change sustainability and Carbon Footprint management, ACMV system, chilled-water plant and Sustainability management initiatives, such as PUB water efficiency management plan, BCA Green Mark, NEA Energy Efficiency would be an added advantage
Familiar with BMS data analysis, Energy Management Systems and Waste Management practices
Proven track record in project management, Energy Efficiency improvement, and Manpower reduction initiatives
Good interpersonal and communication skills and able to work independently
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
