Job summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Diagnose, repair, and maintain electronic hardware used in drone and field operations, ensuring systems are reliable and field-ready.
  • Perform hands-on troubleshooting of hardware issues, including PCB-level faults, power issues, connectors, and cabling.
  • Conduct pre-deployment testing, functional checks, and basic stress testing to reduce field failures.
  • Support field teams and pilots with technical troubleshooting via phone or messaging, guiding them through structured diagnostic steps.
  • Investigate recurring issues and recommend practical corrective actions to improve operational reliability.
  • Maintain clear records of repairs, test results, and common failure modes.
  • Manage tools, test equipment, and essential spare parts required for day-to-day operations.
  • Follow established safety procedures, quality standards, and operational workflows.
Qualifications and Requirements
  • Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related technical field (or equivalent practical experience).
  • 3+ years of hands‑on experience in electronics repair, equipment maintenance, or technical support roles.
  • Proven ability to troubleshoot and repair electronic hardware using standard diagnostic tools (e.g. multimeters).
  • Good practical soldering skills and experience handling PCB‑based systems.
  • Strong problem‑solving ability and comfort working independently in an operations‑driven environment.
  • Good command of English (spoken and written) for documentation and coordination with field teams.
  • Willingness to support operational schedules, including occasional off‑hours troubleshooting when required.
  • Prior drone experience is not required; relevant technical background and learning ability are essential.
