Job summary

A leading safety consultancy firm in Singapore is seeking an experienced professional to lead the development and maintenance of the Major Hazard Installation safety case. The role involves acting as the Subject Matter Expert for MHI and ensuring compliance with major accident prevention policies. Candidates should have proven EHS and process safety experience within manufacturing or GMP-regulated environments. Job description

Key Responsibilities

• Lead development, consolidation, and maintenance of the Major Hazard Installation (MHI) safety case, ensuring compliance with local regulations, applicable codes of practice, cGMP, and Global EHS standards.
• Act as the site Subject Matter Expert (SME) for MHI, serving as the primary liaison with regulatory authorities and maintaining readiness for inspections and audits.
• Ensure effective implementation of Major Accident Prevention Policy (MAPP) and Safety & Health Management Systems, covering process safety, mechanical, electrical, control & instrumentation, human factors, and emergency response.
• Manage risk assessments and technical evaluations to demonstrate that major accident risks are reduced to ALARP, supported by robust documentation and performance metrics.

Requirements

• Proven EHS / Process Safety experience within Manufacturing, Biopharma, Pharmaceutical, or GMP-regulated environments, preferably with MHI exposure.
• Strong working knowledge of process safety management, regulatory compliance, audits, incident investigation, and continuous improvement of safety culture.
