Job Description

Role Purpose

The Sr. Director of Partnerships will drive strategic, high-impact partnerships across Pandora markets to accelerate growth, innovation, and customer engagement. Sitting within the CIO Office, this role connects cross-functional business opportunities with external ecosystems including telcos, financial institutions, technology enablers, loyalty programs, and entertainment platforms to unlock new customer value and incremental revenue streams.

This role requires a leader who combines commercial acumen, stakeholder influence, and executional agility to design, negotiate, and scale partnerships that advance Pandora’s platform strategy.

Key Responsibilities 1. Partnership Strategy & Design

Define the Pan-Pandora partnership strategy aligned with global priorities, CIOO innovation agenda, and MD office goals.

Identify and evaluate new partnership opportunities across telecom, fintech, and retail ecosystems.

Translate business ambitions into clear partnership frameworks (value exchange, commercial model and integration roadmap).

Stakeholder Leadership & Governance

Act as the single point of coordination between CIO Office, MDs, and key regional teams to ensure alignment and governance of all partnership initiatives.

Partner closely with Tech, Product, Legal, and Finance to assess feasibility, technical integration effort, and ROI.

Establish clear governance mechanisms, milestones, and tracking for all partnership projects.

Execution & Scaling

Lead end-to-end partnership lifecycle : from concept validation to contracting, implementation, and performance tracking.

Develop standardized processes, toolkits, and best practices to streamline partnership delivery across markets.

Ensure that partnership implementation quality remains consistent across all markets and touchpoints.

Relationship Management

Build and maintain strategic relationships with C-suite executives of external partners.

Drive regular business reviews and joint planning sessions to unlock new synergies and measure impact.

Ensure partner satisfaction and continuous improvement of partnership value propositions.

Cross-Regional Collaboration

Work closely with Regional MD Offices to localize global partnership strategies.

Support markets in assessing partnership fit, technical feasibility, and business impact.

Foster cross-market learning and replication of successful models.

Key Skills & Competencies

Proven track record in building and scaling strategic partnerships in technology, telecom, fintech, or digital platform environments.

Strong understanding of commercial models, joint business planning, and contract negotiation.

Exceptional stakeholder management skills with experience influencing at senior levels.

Strategic thinker with hands-on project management and execution capability.

Ability to work in fast-paced, matrixed environments with multiple regional interfaces.

Excellent communication and presentation skills; ability to translate complexity into actionable narratives.
