Job description

Key Responsibilities

1. Design & Drafting

• Develop and prepare detailed shop drawings, erection drawings, and reinforcement detailing for precast concrete components (e.g., beams, columns, wall panels, slabs, staircases).
• Modify and optimize designs based on project requirements, production capabilities, and site constraints.
• Ensure drawings comply with relevant codes, standards, and client specifications

2. Coordination & Communication

• Liaise with architects, consultants, and main contractors to resolve design discrepancies.
• Work closely with the production department to ensure designs are practical for manufacturing and installation.
• Attend design coordination meetings with stakeholders to address technical queries.

3. Technical Calculations & Analysis

• Perform structural calculations for load-bearing capacity, reinforcement requirements, and stability of precast elements.
• Evaluate alternative design solutions for cost savings and efficiency improvements.
• Use structural analysis software to verify designs.

4. Quality & Compliance

• Ensure all designs comply with safety regulations, industry standards, and company quality procedures.
• Review and approve final drawings before production release.
• Conduct site visits when necessary to verify installation and alignment with design intent.
