Job summary

An innovative AI company in Singapore is seeking a skilled Data Scientist to drive AI solutions in the manufacturing sector. In this role, you will leverage your expertise in data analytics and AI to transform complex challenges into tangible solutions. You will collaborate closely with engineers and domain experts, independently explore data, and deploy robust machine learning models. A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant field and a minimum of 5 years of experience in data science are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of relevant industry experience in data science or applied machine learning (or 3+ years with a PhD).
• Proven ability to take projects from problem formulation to solution deployment.
• Strong programming skills in Python and familiarity with relevant data/ML libraries.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with domain experts to understand business challenges and translate them into data science solutions.
• Evaluate and select appropriate approaches based on problem context and data availability.
• Independently source, clean, and validate data for analysis and modeling.
