Job description

We’re hiring a Senior Quant Trader to take end-to-end ownership of systematic trading and market-making strategies in liquid electronic markets (with a strong focus on crypto derivatives / perpetuals). You’ll drive the research agenda, translate models into production-grade systems, and run strategies in live markets with tight risk controls. This is a high-impact role for someone who thrives in fast-moving environments and is motivated by measurable P&L outcomes.

Responsibilities
  • Lead research, design and production implementation of a crypto perpetual market‑making engine (funding-rate-aware quoting & systematic hedging).
  • Architect and build the full stack: pricing engine, hedging rules, execution algorithms, order management, and exchange connectivity.
  • Design models and rules that incorporate funding, mark/index dynamics, position carry, and market microstructure to optimize risk-adjusted returns.
  • Define and enforce risk limits (inventory, exposure, leverage, liquidation risk), stress testing, scenario analysis_IDENTIFIER, and kill-switch controls within the firm’s risk framework.
  • Work with exchanges, liquidity venues, and internal compliance/legal teams on onboarding, market access, product expansions, and incentive programs.
  • Partner with quants, engineers, and trading operations to prioritise roadmap and deliver improvements.
Qualifications
  • 5–8+ years Bucc professional quant trading experience, including systematic strategy development and live trading ownership (crypto derivatives experience strongly preferred).
  • Deep knowledge of perpetual swaps mechanics (funding rate, indexing/mark price & liquidation mechanics) and market microstructure.
  • Experience with perpetual market-making on major CEX.
  • Proven track record of building and deploying production trading systems (pricing engine, execution algos, risk layer).
  • Expert in at least one compiled language (C++ / Rust) and one high-productivity language (Python).
Benefits
  • Celebrate your tenure with us! Receive generous milestone anniversary gifts that grow with each year of service.
  • Join a vibrant workplace culture with fantastic team-building activities, fostering camaraderie and collaboration among colleagues.
  • Prioritize your well-being! Access our Flexible Spending Account (FSA) for various health and wellness needs.
  • Invest in your growth! Access annual training opportunities tailored to your role.
