Job summary

A construction company in Singapore is seeking an experienced Contract Manager with a strong background in contract management and construction law. Roles & Responsibilities
  • Lead, mentor, and develop the contracts team to achieve departmental and project goals. Allocate resources effectively and ensure high performance across contract administration and tendering functions.
  • Contract Management: draft, review, negotiate contracts with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers, ensuring compliance with contractual terms and conditions.
  • Draft, review, and manage contractual correspondence and agreements, maintaining accurate records and document registers.
  • Collaborate with project teams to resolve contractual issues.
  • Ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and company standards.
  • Identify and mitigate contractual risks, safeguarding the firm’s interests.
  • Manage claims, variations, and dispute resolution processes.
  • Tendering & Business Development: direct the preparation, review, and submission of tenders for new projects.
  • Analyze tender documents, specifications, and drawings to identify risks and opportunities.
  • Collaborate with project managers, estimators, and technical teams to develop competitive bids.
  • Support strategic business growth by securing profitable projects.
  • Overall Commercial Oversight: monitor project budgets, cash flow, and financial performance related to contracts.
  • Provide commercial advice to senior management and project teams.
  • Ensure timely invoicing, payment collection, and contract close‑out.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: build and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and suppliers.
  • Represent the firm in negotiations and industry forums.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for contractual matters.
  • Perform other ad‑hoc duties as assigned by superiors.
Requirements
