Job summary

A leading construction firm in Singapore is looking for an experienced Quantity Surveyor to manage their team and oversee contract preparations. The role involves developing procurement strategies, managing project cash flow, administering timelines and budgets, and providing contractual guidance. Candidates must possess a Degree in Quantity Surveying or equivalent, along with a minimum of 12 years of relevant experience. Strong organizational, communication, and teamwork skills are essential for this role.

Qualifications

  • Degree / Diploma in Quantity Surveying / Building or equivalent from a recognized University.
  • Minimum 12 years of related working experience in Maincon.
  • Organizational skill with attention to detail, adaptable and flexible.
  • Good communication and facilitation skills.
  • Ability to work well in a team as well as independently and demonstrate initiative and commitment.

Responsibilities

  • Manage team of Quantity Surveyors in contract preparation and management.
  • Develop procurement strategies involving vendor shortlisting and tendering.
  • Oversee contract progress claims and subcontract payments.
  • Generate and track project cash flow forecasts.
  • Administer project timelines and budgets during negotiations.
  • Provide guidance on contractual issues and assist in dispute resolution.
  • Collaborate with the Project Team for financial insights and contractual support.
