Job summary

A corporate services agency in Singapore is seeking an experienced company secretary. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of relevant experience and a strong understanding of corporate secretarial practice. You'll work independently with minimal supervision and maintain accurate records for a range of international clients. Candidates with a degree or diploma and knowledge of the Companies Act are preferred. The role offers a friendly, teamwork-oriented environment with no micromanagement.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Assists in providing company secretarial services to a range of clients.
  • Supervises the handling of full set of routine company secretarial documents.
  • Communicates with clients independently in close collaboration with the relationship manager.
  • Act as named company secretary.
  • Ensure filing deadlines are met.
  • Prepares resolutions and corresponds with clients.
  • Ensures accurate maintenance of statutory records for clients.
  • Ensures accurate update and maintenance of records/information in digital entity management platform.
  • Responsible, accountable.
Job Requirements:
  • Degree / Diploma holder, finalist of ICSA preferred.
  • Minimum 5 years relevant experience gained in professional firm/CPA firm/law firm.
  • Good knowledge of corporate secretarial practice and be familiar with Companies Act and regulations of regulatory bodies.
  • Good computer skills with experience/knowledge.
  • Attention to detail with a high degree of accuracy.
  • Good command of both spoken and written English.
  • Independent (managed on output, not input).
  • Able to work in a small team with professionals in other disciplines (accounting, tax, legal, compliance).
