Job summary

A technology company in Singapore is seeking a CNC Programmer to create and modify NC programs using Siemens CAD software. The role involves 3D solid modeling and designing workholding with the support of Manufacturing Engineering. Ideal candidates will have demonstrated knowledge of CNC programming, the ability to program mills, lathes, and multi-axis machines. Strong communication skills are essential for resolving program issues with machinists. Experience with Siemens NX software is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Create new NC programs using Siemens CAD software.
• Edit/modify existing NC programs.
• Create 3D solid Process Models.
• Design workholding/fixturing with assistance from Manufacturing Engineering.
• Identify and apply tooling based on materials, equipment, and cutting conditions.

• Create simple 3D solid Process Models
• Design workholding/fixturing, as needed, with assistance from Manufacturing Engineering Identify and apply appropriate tooling based on material types, quiipment considerations, cutting conditions, etc .

Skills & Abilities

• Demonstrated knowledge of CNC programming
• Ability to program both mills and lathes
• Ability to program multi axis machines preffered
• Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of machine code (G&M code) Ability to read and interpret CAD drawings
• Demonstrated knowledge of GD&T Demonstrated ability to learn and apply CAD/CAM software for programming
• Experience with Siemens NX/Unigraphics CAD/CAM software, preffered but not required
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to communicate with machinists to resolve program issues
