What you will be responsible for
- 1. Cloud Environment Management & Security Design, implement, maintain, and optimize multi-cloud (AWS, AliCloud, OCI) network architecture (VPC/VNet, transit networking) and security controls (IAM, security groups, NACLs, cloud firewalls, encryption, logging). Manage hybrid connectivity (Direct Connect/ExpressRoute/VPN) for secure on-premises-cloud integration.
- 2. On-Premises Network Infrastructure Management Design, implement, and maintain the company’s network infrastructure, including LAN, WAN, firewalls, routers, switches, and VPNs, to ensure high availability and performance. Monitor and maintain network health, ensuring robustness.
- 3. Cloud & On-prem Network Performance Monitoring, and Security Response Proactively monitor cloud and on-prem network performance, security logs, and threat indicators using CSPM/SIEM/monitoring tools. Troubleshoot and resolve outages, cloud network issues, and security incidents in a timely manner. Provide regular performance and security posture reports, including RCA for recurrent or high-impact issues.
- 4. Business and Stakeholder Collaboration Work closely with internal teams and external service providers to support business growth and cloud adoption/expansion. Collaborate with stakeholders to design and deliver secure and scalable cloud and on-prem network solutions meeting organizational requirements. Act as technical lead to support managers in coordinating cloud/network tasks, reviewing architecture feasibility, and driving technical delivery.
- 5. Project Management Lead cloud and network-related projects, including cloud migration, infrastructure upgrades, new security tools, and technology implementation. Manage timelines, vendors, and budgets for cloud and hybrid network initiatives. Ensure cloud projects follow governance, change management, and compliance requirements.
- 6. Compliance and Documentation Ensure cloud and network systems comply with regulatory and industry frameworks (ISO27001, SOC2, CSA CCM where relevant). Document cloud architectures, network configurations, security controls, and operational procedures. Maintain accurate cloud asset inventory, tagging standards, and audit-ready documentation.
Requirements
- . Educational Background Bachelor or Master degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cloud Computing, Network Engineering, Cybersecurity, or related fields.
- 2. Experience 10+ years of experience in cloud, network, security or infrastructure engineering roles. Experience in managing complex enterprise cloud environments and hybrid cloud infrastructure. Hands-on experience with AWS, AliCloud, or OCI cloud networking and security services. Experience managing Palo Alto, Fortinet, or Cisco platforms in both cloud and on-prem deployments.
- 3. Technical Skills Proficiency in networking technologies, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, BGP, OSPF, and network security (firewalls, IAM, encryption, IDS/IPS). Familiarity with cloud and enterprise security and network technologies, SIEM, VPN, SD-WAN, load balancing, and distributed network design. Knowledge of cloud networking architecture and services. Experience with monitoring and management tools (e.g. SolarWinds, Wireshark, Nagios, Prometheus, CloudWatch).
- 4. Certifications (Preferred) CCSP is highly preferred. AWS certification. Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) or Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert (CCIE). ITIL or other relevant certifications are a plus.
- 5. Soft Skills Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate across teams. Analytical and problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to network issues.
- 6. Additional Qualifications Familiarity with APAC/Singapore compliance requirements is advantageous. Experience with on-prem data centers, DR strategy, and cloud security governance is a plus.
