Job summary

A leading engineering firm based in Singapore is seeking a Senior Business Development Executive (M&A) to identify and develop business opportunities within its growth strategy. The successful candidate will work with partners and internal stakeholders to manage strategic alliances and joint ventures. Candidates should have a good honours degree in Engineering, Business, or related fields, with at least two years of relevant experience and excellent analytical and communication skills.

Senior Business Development Executive (M&A)

The Senior Business Development Executive will be responsible for the ongoing identification and development of business opportunities as part of the overall company’s growth strategy. They will work collaboratively with partners and internal stakeholders to manage the development, formation and execution of strategic alliances, acquisitions and joint venture projects.

Responsibilities
  • Seek out partners and develop tactical plans to crystallize the business strategies into viable business opportunities.
  • Manage the development, formation and execution of strategic alliances, acquisitions and joint venture projects.
  • Provide assistance to the company’s operating divisions in new product development involving key OEMs and industry partners.
Qualifications
  • Good honours degree in Engineering, Business, Accountancy or Finance.
  • Minimum two (2) years of working experience, preferably in strategic business development and planning.
  • Excellent business acumen, analytical mind and innovative problem‑solving skills.
  • Good knowledge of accounting, financial evaluation and business planning tools.
  • Strong interpersonal, written, communication and presentation skills.
  • Some travelling may be required from time to time.
