Job Summary

The Senior Business Analyst consults with business subject matter experts and technology resources to identify, prioritize, document, and manage business requirements for the Hotel or Casino business.

Job Responsibilities

  • Consultation: Collaborate with business experts and tech resources to manage business requirements for Hotel or Casino operations.
  • Stakeholder Management: Build positive relationships with stakeholders, address issues efficiently and lead requirements workshops.
  • Problem Analysis: Assess business requirements, propose solutions and identify impact.
  • Process Improvement: Discover and implement business process improvements.
  • Collaboration: Work with various IT teams and vendors to ensure comprehensive solutions.
  • Documentation: Document and review business requirements, functional specifications, and user guides.
  • Estimation & Procurement: Facilitate cost estimation sessions, support procurement and legal activities.
  • Project Delivery: Manage requirements traceability and complete project tasks within time, cost, and quality constraints.
  • QA & UAT Support: Validate test planning and execution.
  • Business Architecture Roadmap: Maintain the roadmap with new and enhanced capabilities.
  • Guidance: Mentor junior business analysts and ensure alignment with organizational goals.


Job Requirements

Education & Certification

  • Diploma or Degree in relevant fields

Experience

  • 6-9 years in process mapping, business requirements analysis, documentation, data mapping and/or test planning.
  • Full SDLC lifecycle experience, knowledge of Waterfall & Agile methodologies, and tools like Use Case Modeling, Business Process Modeling (BPM), SWOT Analysis, Wireframes and Mockups, User Stories, Data Flow Diagrams (DFD), Entity-Relationship Diagrams (ERD).
  • Experience with Microsoft Office, SharePoint and Teams

Other Prerequisites

  • Ability to work independently, and effectively manage and execute multiple initiatives concurrently.
  • Strong interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills.
  • Understanding of the Hotel or Casino industry preferred.
  • Experience in coaching junior staff preferred.
