About This Role

This role will be part of the dynamic team to support the Card Strategy & Planning team in Payments and Platform under Consumer Banking Group. You will be partnering closely with all the key stakeholders across the department, to support our business functions and oversee key projects.

Responsibilities
  • Forecasting & Budgeting: Support the Credit Cards business in the yearly forecasting and budgeting exercise. Leverage data analytics to build robust financial models, data simulation and scenarios modelling. Work closely with stakeholders to gather inputs and create compelling management deck that presents key insights.
  • Performance Analysis: Drive analysis on cards payment volume, customer spend & portfolio level data to deliver insights. This includes core value product competitive analysis, market share tracking & identifying opportunities to grow payment volume, margins & acquisitions.
  • Operational efficiency & Process improvement: Responsible for upkeep and maintenance of business performance models/tracker, continuously enhance existing models that facilitate the management review; streamline and drive automation in reporting process to drive operational efficiency.
  • Managing through Journey (MtJ): Lead the Cards MtJ cadence & drive discussion around key strategic focus areas & performance management metrics. Facilitate MtJ scorecard updates & artifacts for program office.
  • Project Support: Support in execution of short and long-term strategic projects/initiatives, i.e: AIML business modelling & outcome analysis.
  • Risk Management: Coordinate Risk Control Self-Assessment (RCSA) review & submission across Credit Card business. Conduct quarterly reviews and monitor for any potential rewards gaming activities.
  • Supports other BAU job duties such as maintaining the testing roster & campaign resource prioritization across cards. Adhoc data extraction, analysis & reporting relating to Credit Cards business.
Qualification and Technical Skills Requirements
  • Degree holder in business analytics/Banking/Accounting/Finance, or a similar field, with at least 5-8 years of relevant working experience
  • Strong knowledge in financial management, planning, and analytics
  • Experience in a financial institute or in the payments industry is advantageous.
  • Possesses good understanding of banking and the payment landscape in SG
  • Understand and aware of domestic payment products and our relevant competitors, as well as the alternate products offered by such competitors
  • Ability to anticipate changes in financial landscape and capitalise it to improve domestic payment experience for consumers
  • Excellent and highly proficient in excel and powerpoint
  • Proficient in BI tools (Qlikview, Qlik sense)

  • Proven ability to multi-task, work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
  • Strong interpersonal and time management skills. Ability to deal with diverse stakeholders across business and technology
  • Can-do attitude. Keen to learn. Ability to quickly pick-up business domain knowledge as well as data related technical skills
  • Strong communication and presentation skills. Be able to explain a design or a scenario to a wide range of audience from different backgrounds.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to think outside of the box
