Position Overview
The Senior Assistant Director will lead, strategize, and drive growth initiatives to strengthen the institution’s global footprint. This role oversees international university partnerships, agent networks, conferences, and market expansion efforts—particularly in the Middle East and emerging markets. The incumbent will also play a key role in enhancing institutional branding, developing a modern and dynamic marketing capability, and supporting entrepreneurship and innovation initiatives. Proficiency in both English and Chinese is required for relationship-building, translation of key documents, and cross-cultural communication.
Key Responsibilities
Branding, Expansion & Lead Generation
- Manage ongoing partner relationships, ensuring compliance, performance tracking, and continuous engagement.
- Agent Network Management & International Events
- Organize and lead participation in international agent conferences, roadshows, education fairs, and events.
- Build and grow a qualified pipeline of new leads across priority regions.
- Conduct market research to identify opportunities in the Middle East and developing/emerging markets.
- Drive strategic initiatives to expand market share, student recruitment, and partnership outreach.
- Lead the development of marketing strategies tailored to international audiences.
- Provide strategic direction for digital campaigns, content development, and brand positioning.
Entrepreneurship & Innovation Initiatives
- Support or lead projects related to entrepreneurship, innovation, incubators, and industry collaborations.
- Identify opportunities for innovation-led programs or partnerships that enhance institutional competitiveness.
Strategic Planning & Reporting
- Develop annual business development plans aligned with institutional objectives.
- Manage budgets for travel, events, marketing, and partnership activities.
Qualifications & Requirements
Education: Master’s degree in Entrepreneurship and Innovation
Experience:
- Minimum 7–10 years of experience in business development, partnership management, or international relations—preferably in the education sector.
- Proven track record in managing international agents, and international events.
- Experience in developing new markets, especially in the Middle East and emerging economies, is highly desirable.
Skills & Competencies:
- Strong business development acumen with the ability to identify and seize growth opportunities.
- Excellent relationship management, negotiation, and networking skills.
- Proficiency in both English and Chinese is required (spoken and written).
- Strong analytical, presentation, and project management capabilities.
- Experience in marketing strategy, branding initiatives, and cross-functional leadership.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, multicultural environment with frequent international travel.
