About the Role

We are a well-established healthcare group operating a specialist clinic and a licensed day surgery centre in Singapore. We are seeking an experienced Senior Accountant / Finance Manager to support the Head of Finance and take ownership of day-to-day finance operations across the group.

This is a stable, long-term role within a regulated healthcare environment, suited for a seasoned accounting professional who values structure, compliance and sustainable work practices.

Key Responsibilities
Finance Operations & Reporting
  • Manage month-end and year-end closing, including group consolidation and reporting
  • Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll and general ledger functions
  • Ensure accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of financial records and reports
  • Prepare monthly management accounts and financial analysis for management review
Audit, Compliance & Governance
  • Prepare audit schedules and supporting documentation
  • Liaise with external auditors, tax agents and professional advisors
  • Support statutory, regulatory, and compliance filings
  • Ensure adherence to internal accounting policies and control frameworks
Tax, Controls & Process Improvement
  • Assist with corporate tax computations, GST submissions and related filings
  • Maintain and strengthen internal controls and documentation
  • Identify process gaps and support continuous improvement initiatives
  • Assist in system enhancements or accounting process optimisation where required
Leadership & Business Support
  • Supervise, review and guide junior accounting staff
  • Act as deputy to the Head of Finance and provide coverage during leave periods or absence
  • Work closely with internal stakeholders to support operational and financial needs
  • Serve as a reliable finance partner in a regulated clinical environment
Requirements
Qualifications & Experience
  • Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline
  • Professional qualification such as CPA, CA, ACCA or equivalent preferred
  • 7–10 years of relevant accounting experience, ideally in a senior or supervisory role
  • Strong background in audit, reporting, and compliance
Technical & Professional Competencies
  • Solid understanding of Singapore financial reporting and statutory requirements
  • Experience in healthcare, medical, or other regulated industries is an advantage
  • High attention to detail, strong organisational skills and sound judgment
  • Calm, dependable, and able to manage responsibilities in a structured environment
  • Able to work independently while collaborating effectively with management
