Job summary

A private equity fund management firm in Singapore is seeking a Senior Accountant/Accountant to manage accounting, reporting, and compliance for investment portfolios. The ideal candidate will hold a Bachelor's degree in accountancy and possess professional qualifications such as ACCA or CPA. With a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience, including 2 years at a Big 4 firm, the candidate should excel in communication and analytical skills, and be fluent in both English and Mandarin. Qualifications

• Familiarity with Singapore/International financial reporting standards.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

The Senior Accountant/Accountant's role in a private equity fund management set up encompasses the following:

• accounting, reporting, internal control, administration and compliance functions for the funds and related investment portfolios that the fund manages. The Employee shall undertake specific projects, for instance, related to portfolio companies that may be assigned from time to time.
• manage treasury function and monitoring risk/return KPIs of various asset portfolios.
• supporting the FM/CEO in communications with stakeholders and government agencies.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in accountancy, Finance or a related field
• Professional qualifications such as ACCA, CA or CPA
• Strong accounting knowledge & familiarity with Singapore/International financial reporting standards, knowledge in Fund Accounting is an added advantage
