Job summary

A leading financial services firm in Singapore is seeking an experienced Accountant to manage full-set accounts including accounts payables, receivables, and general ledger. You will prepare GST returns and support audits while ensuring compliance with local tax regulations. The ideal candidate holds a degree in Accounting or Finance, possesses at least 3 years of relevant experience, and is proficient in software like SAP and QuickBooks. Fluency in English and Chinese is required to liaise effectively with stakeholders.

Qualifications

  • Solid knowledge of corporate tax compliance requirements.

Job description
Key Job Responsibilities:
  • Handle full-set accounts including AP, AR, and GL, ensuring accurate and timely month-end and year-end closing
  • Prepare quarterly GST returns, ensuring accuracy and timely submission
  • Liaise with internal departments and outsourced tax agents on corporate tax matters
  • Support annual statutory and group audit activities
  • Processing supplier invoices and staff claims, ensuring compliance with company policies and timely payments
  • Coordinate with internal departments and external parties such as auditors, IRAS, banks, and vendors
  • Support finance and tax projects, including digitalisation initiatives such as InvoiceNow implementation and continuous process improvements
Key Responsibilities:
  • Degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent professional qualification
  • At least 3 years of relevant experience in full-set accounting and Singapore tax reporting
  • Solid knowledge of SFRS, GST, and corporate tax compliances requirements
  • Proficient in accounting software (e.g., SAP, QuickBooks) and MS Excel
  • Strong numerical accuracy, attention to detail, and organizational skills
  • Fluent in English and Chinese (spoken/written) to liaise effectively with various stakeholders
  • Able to work independently and manage deadlines effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Positive attitude with good team spirit and strong interpersonal communication skills
