SEN Teacher Canterbury, Kent

Contract: Maternity Cover (Starting November 2025)
Pay: MPS / UPS £160 to £240 per day (dependent on experience)
Location: Canterbury, Kent

The Role

As an SEN Teacher, you will:

  • Plan and deliver engaging lessons tailored to students with SEND or SEMH needs.
  • Teach across a range of subjects, with specialise in Art or Maths particularly welcome.
  • Adapt existing lesson plans to suit individual learners and maintain a dynamic, pupil-focused classroom.
  • Make effective use of both classroom and outdoor learning spaces to enhance engagement and development.
Requirements

To be considered for this role, you will need:

  • Proven experience teaching students with special educational needs.
  • A solid understanding of KS3 and KS4 curricula.
  • A creative, nurturing, and adaptable teaching approach.
