Overview

We are seeking a Security Executive / Manager to oversee site security operations, manage outsourced security deployment, and ensure compliance with audit requirements and site security standards. The role covers security risk assessment, incident response, and continuous improvement of asset protection measures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage daily security operations and liaise with security vendors on deployment and operational matters
  • Lead security audits and follow-up actions with stakeholders (including global committees where required)
  • Monitor and review security officer performance to ensure compliance with operational standards and site protocols
  • Oversee CCTV surveillance operations, alarm systems, and access control management systems
  • Conduct regular inspections, security risk assessments and audits to identify vulnerabilities and implement corrective actions
  • Respond to security incidents/emergencies, manage breaches, conduct investigations and prepare incident reports
  • Coordinate with internal teams, contractors and external agencies during emergencies or security-related incidents
  • Manage visitor and contractor access procedures to ensure compliance with safety/security policies
  • Plan and conduct security training, briefings and emergency drills
  • Maintain up-to-date documentation for security operations, incident reports and asset protection measures
  • Any other duties assigned by Reporting Officer
Requirements
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant security experience, with at least 1 year in a supervisory/executive role (manufacturing environment preferred)
  • Must have hands-on experience and knowledge of TAPA (Transported Asset Protection Association)
  • Possess a valid PLRD Security Supervisor or Senior Security Officer Licence
  • Good knowledge of security operations, emergency response procedures and regulatory requirements
  • Strong leadership, problem-solving and decision-making skills
  • Good report writing and documentation skills (incident reporting, stakeholder communication)
  • Knowledge of Responsible Business Alliance (RBA) will be an advantage
