Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Prepare lesson plans for lessons.
• Encourage student participation and provide academic support.
• Set homework and conduct bi-monthly assessments.
• Mark homework and review corrections.
• Attend Monthly Meetings to update the Academic Head.
• Assist in researching and developing new teaching materials.
• Perform administrative tasks, including filing lesson plans.

We are a young and growing education center, working with mostly international students and local students. We are currently expanding and looking for more teaching staff to join us full-time or part-time.

The Position

We’re looking for a full-time Secondary English Teacher. Our pay range is from $4000 to $5000.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare lesson plans for your lessons.
• Encourage student participation and provide academic support during lessons.
• Setting homework and bi-monthly assessments to review students' progress.
• Mark the student's homework and review corrections.
• Attend Monthly Meetings and update the Academic Head on students’ progress and other problems.
• Assist the Academic Head in researching and developing new teaching materials.
• Administrative tasks, for example, include keeping and filing lesson plans and teaching records.

Requirements:

• Must complete A Level, Polytechnic, Degree, or higher education.
• Able to teach Secondary and above English (O Level, IGCSE and/or IB).
• Must be able to commit to at least ONE/TWO weekends to work. Off-In-Lieu on weekdays.
• Patient, willing to learn/adapt, and flexible.
