Job summary

A leading research organization in Singapore is seeking a PhD holder to work in a multidisciplinary team focusing on the development of nanoscale novel nanophotonic and quantum optical emitting devices. The role requires strong knowledge of nanofabrication and excellent communication skills, as well as a strong publication track record. Candidates with experience in FDTD or COMSOL and those who are self-motivated will be preferred. Only shortlisted candidates will be notified.

  • Strong foundation knowledge in nanophotonics/quantum optics.

Essential duties and responsibilities for this position include:

The candidate will work together with a multidisciplinary research team to develop nanoscale novel nanophotonic and quantum optical emitting devices.

  • A PhD degree in physics/ nanophotonics/ quantum optics/ electrical and electronic engineering
  • Prior experience with fabrication or manufacturing of optical elements or devices will be an advantage.
  • Experience in FDTD or COMSOL for nanophotonic simulation will be an advantage.
  • Strong publication track record.
  • Strong capability with nanofabrication.
  • Strong foundation knowledge in nanophotonics / quantum optics.
