Job Description & RequirementsThe Services required are set out as follows:• Provide teaching and learning support to teachers, for example,preparation of resources / materials for Science laboratoryactivities and enrichment programme.• Label and keep records of existing and new Science teachingand learning materials and lab resources such as teachers’ deskcopies, reference books, lab apparatus and chemicals etc.Maintain loan records of Science Resources.• Pack and organise the resources in the Science Rooms. Ensurethat the Science rooms are clean and conducive for lessons.• Ensure lab equipment, materials and specimens are in goodworking conditions. Conduct stock-take at least twice a year.Maintain a stock book and breakage record to initiate ordering ofreplacements where necessary.• Ensure proper disposal of waste materials such as sharp wasteobjects and chemicals.• Ensure safety of pupils in the Science rooms. Report any incidentto Science HOD/ Level Head. Maintain a laboratory incident logbook.• Check that first aid box is updated, safety devices in thelaboratory, such as emergency eye-washers, showers and fireextinguishers are working.• Provide administrative / logistical support for Sciencecompetitions, assessments and programmes collation of surveyresults and distribution of Science materials to pupils etc.• Assist in carrying out safety briefings such as Laboratory Safety,equipment awareness (e.g. Microscopes).• Any other duties assigned by the School
