Who You Are

You are a Satellite Electronics Engineer who will be an essential part of an experienced team working on satellites directly. You will design, fabricate, validate and deploy new features for both space-based and ground-based hardware. The projects you will work on will assist the company in achieving project goals across a wide range of industries, including farming, education, remote sensing, communications, and climate change.

In your day-to-day tasks, you will report to a Senior Engineer directly, who will train and guide you to be comfortable in your role. In this position, you can benefit from the wealth of experience, learn the ins-and-outs of space-based product development and get invaluable hands-on opportunities to further your career.

Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with other engineers to create new hardware for satellite projects in space.
  • Contribute to continuous iterations of the development cycle for future satellites and improve itsworkflow.
  • Create tools, processes and hardware to validate satellite hardware.
  • Join in concept planning, stand-up meetings and day-to-day discussions about upcoming projects.
Requirements:
  • Good technical grasp of electronic design, including schematic, PCB principles and relevant software. (e.g KiCad).
  • Basic knowledge on Version Control Software and their respective wrappers (e.g Git, GitHub, Bitbucket).
  • Basic understanding of STM32, ESP32 and their respective counterparts.
  • Ability to learn rapidly with guidance.
  • Curiosity and passion for new thing.
  • Team player with the knack for good communication and a collaboration inclination.
  • Fluent in verbal and written communications in English.

Location/Other Information:
  • Working location: NUS Singapore Wind Tunnel Facility (SWIFT)
  • Working Hours: Monday – Friday, 9am to 6pm
  • For applicants, the interview will also consist of a simple test prior. Details of the test will be provided1 week before the interview date to allow applicants to prepare in advance.

Fresh university graduates as well as polytechnic graduates are highly preferred. Applicants are not expected to have experience past the stated requirements, though having any will be an edge over the rest.
