Job summary

A leading medical device company in Singapore seeks a Sales Representative to drive sales in the Orthopaedics Implant market. The ideal candidate will manage accounts, build relationships with key decision makers, assist in surgeries, and conduct product training. A Degree in Life Science, along with 2 years of sales experience, is required. Flexibility for after-hours work is needed.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years’ sales experience in Orthopaedic Implant sales to hospitals.
  • Experience in nursing (operating theatre) is an added bonus.
  • Flexible for case coverage support and able to work after office hours.

Job Summary

The primary objective of the Sales Representative is to ensure attainment of sales objectives by providing excellent service and advice to current customers within an assigned hospitals / clinics / surgeons, whilst also leveraging new and existing business with the aim of growing market share. He/she is also expected to provide guidance to junior sales reps in sales activities.

Principal Duties & Responsibilities
  • Provide account management and maintain good rapport with customers to ensure attainment of sales objectives
  • Build and establish relationships with key decision markers to grow sales and share in the Orthopaedics Implant market
  • Liaise with Sales & Marketing Manager to identify business growth opportunities; develop/execute sales and budgeting plans
  • Assist surgeons and nurses in the use of Zimmer’s instruments and products in surgeries
  • Work with Operations/Distributors to ensure the delivery of complete instrument and implant to customer/operating theatre
  • Conduct product training/workshops
  • Actively participate in product training/workshops to enhance product knowledge and surgical techniques
  • Study relevant clinical articles/information to enhance knowledge and provide relevant advice to internal/external customers
  • Show leadership and guidance in interaction with junior sales reps, with view of being groomed to be a future segment leader.
