A design and construction firm in Singapore is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead all phases of project execution. The ideal candidate will manage project schedules, coordinate with clients and consultants, monitor site progress, and ensure budget adherence. Responsibilities
  • Lead and spearhead the operation and execution of project from inception development phase to manufacturing start up to site installation to completion of project.
  • Lead the project and facilitate coordination with client, architect, consultant and NSC.
  • Monitor the site progress with site manager/coordinator/supervisor.
  • Develop project schedule.
  • Attend site meetings or progress meetings with client/architect/designer/consultant together with site project team.
  • Handle all correspondences/documentation and prepare reports (emails, site progress report, weekly update project schedule, etc.).
  • Monitor and manage approved project budget by management and provide value engineering to work scope and materials.
  • Manage and resolve design and technical issues with site manager/coordinator/supervisor/factory manager.
  • Plan and schedule project timelines.
  • Implement and manage project changes and interventions to achieve project outputs.
  • Provide direction and support to project team.
  • Quality assurance.
  • Constantly monitor and report on progress of the project to management.
  • Present reports defining project progress, problems and solutions (submit weekly site progress report to management).
  • Monitor and manage rectification works.
  • Establish progressive and finalized final claim to clients for each completed project.
  • Participate in ad-hoc projects and other duties when required.
  • Evaluate and approve sub-contractors/suppliers claims and recommend appropriate payments.
  • Attend company's weekly and fortnightly meetings.
  • Able to work long hours, weekends and public holidays.
