Job summary

A leading engineering firm in Singapore is seeking a Sales & Project Engineer responsible for driving sales growth and managing client relationships. The role involves preparing project documentation, coordinating with vendors, and ensuring the successful execution of projects. Ideal candidates should have a diploma or degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field, at least 2 years of experience in the construction industry, and possess strong communication and sales skills. This position offers the opportunity to work independently and develop lasting customer partnerships.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years experience in the construction industry.
  • Possess a Class 3 Driving licence, preferably with own vehicle.
  • Able to work independently with minimum supervision.
  • Computer literate.

The Sales & Project Engineer is responsible for driving sales growth, managing customer relationships, and overseeing the successful execution of projects from initiation to completion. This role combines technical expertise with strong communication and project management skills to deliver solutions that meet client requirements and company objectives.

Job Description
  • Respond to RFQ and prepare required documents and submit tender.
  • Plan and conduct sales visit and customer calls.
  • Co-ordinate with Clients and Vendor/Contractor to ensure prompt deliver.
  • Prepare project documents, plans, budget control sheet, progress reports and claims.
  • Plan weekly work schedule and set productivity to be achieved.
  • Build and promote strong, long-lasting customer relationships by partnering with them and understanding their needs.
  • Identify emerging markets and market shifts while being fully aware of new business opportunities and competition status.
  • Perform any ad-hoc task.
Requirement
  • Minimum 2 years experience in construction industry.
