Responsibilities

  • Grow sales of specialty ingredients across assigned APAC markets.

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within food, pet food and industrial segments.
  • Lead commercial negotiations covering pricing, margins, and volume agreements.
  • Monitor market dynamics, competitor activity, and relevant industry trends.
  • Collaborate closely with internal global teams to align commercial strategy.
  • Conduct regular customer visits and travel regionally as required.

Job Title: Sales Manager, APAC – Specialty Ingredients

Our client is a well-established international supplier of plant-based and functional ingredients serving customers in food, pet nutrition and industrial sectors. As part of its continued expansion in Asia Pacific, the business is looking to appoint a commercially-driven Sales Manager to strengthen and grow its regional presence. This role is responsible for managing and expanding the trading of specialty ingredients across selected APAC markets. The successful candidate will be self-motivated, entrepreneurial, and confident in developing customer relationships through proactive outreach and strategic account growth.

Responsibilities
  • Grow sales of specialty ingredients across assigned APAC markets
  • Develop and manage relationships with customers, distributors and partners
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within food, pet food and industrial segments
  • Lead commercial negotiations covering pricing, margins and volume agreements
  • Monitor market dynamics, competitor activity and relevant industry trends
  • Collaborate closely with internal global teams to align commercial strategy
  • Conduct regular customer visits and travel regionally as required (approximately 25–40%)
Requirements
