Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement a sales plan for the India region, targeting new-build and retrofit opportunities for marine navigation and communication systems.
  • Build a strong sales pipeline aligned with regional growth objectives.
  • Proactively identify and secure new business opportunities within the merchant, offshore, and naval segments.
  • Achieve assigned sales, revenue, and margin targets through strategic account management and business development activities.
  • Negotiate pricing, contract terms, and delivery schedules in collaboration with the commercial and technical teams.
  • Serve as the primary contact for Indian clients, ensuring effective communication, responsiveness, and post‑sale engagement.
  • Maintain long‑term relationships with key customers and stakeholders to ensure repeat business and high client satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with regional offices, technical departments, and management to align sales strategies and share market intelligence.
  • Provide regular reports on sales forecasts, pipeline development, and market feedback.
  • Manage quotations, commercial negotiations, and contract documentation in line with company standards.
  • Ensure compliance with internal policies, ethical practices, and export control requirements.
Job Requirements
  • Minimum 5 years of sales experience in the marine industry (equipment, lubricants, coatings, spare parts, or marine services).
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Maritime Studies, Business, or a related field.
