Responsibilities
- Drive B2B sales growth by developing and executing sales strategies tailored to the Japanese food industry, focusing on wholesalers, restaurants, hotels, and catering groups
- Build strong, long-term relationships with key accounts and strategic partners to ensure repeat business and customer loyalty
- Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities, track industry trends, and stay ahead of competitors
- Collaborate closely with marketing and operations teams to launch new products, create promotions, and ensure smooth supply chain operations
- Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals that communicate product value, authenticity, and unique selling points
- Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts with clients to achieve win-win outcomes while protecting company margins
- Monitor sales performance, analyze results, and recommend actions to improve sales conversion and profitability
- Mentor and guide junior sales team members, fostering a culture of collaboration, customer focus, and continuous improvement
Key Requirements
- Minimum Diploma or Degree in Business, Sales & Marketing, or a related field
- Relevant experience in B2B sales, key account management, or distributor/channel management, preferably in food import, F&B, or hospitality industry
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and growing key accounts
- Good understanding of Japanese food products, ingredients, or willingness to learn quickly
