Our PMplus platform is a front-to-back technology solution designed for Trustee / Depositary, Asset Servicers, and Asset & Wealth Managers. We are dedicated to supporting our customer’s growth, with comprehensive functionality designed by leading industry experts. In the last few years, STP has had exciting growth, welcoming a number of larger‑scale financial services clients. To support additional opportunities, we are currently looking for a sales professional to be based at our Singapore office to source additional opportunities throughout South East Asia.

Prerequisites
  • A Singaporean citizen or applicant already holding PR is a requirement.
  • 4 to 6 years of experience selling complex financial services technology, including to Financial Services Tier 1 prospects.
  • Graduate in Finance or Economics from a reputed institution.
  • Demonstrable track‑record of solution-based sales, including active management of the sales pipeline.
Job Description
  • Sales responsibility across South East Asia, based in Singapore, accountable to our CEO in Europe.
  • Identification of potential clients / prospects for STP’s products and services.
  • Management of the sales pipeline for your area of responsibility, on an end-to-end sales-funnel basis from lead‑gen to closing.
  • Management of system demos and preparation of relevant sales materials, including STP’s presentation script outlines.
  • Attend marketing and conference events to represent STP’s products and services.
  • Research and analyze target markets and new opportunities.
  • Make suggestions for product improvements from discussions and feedback with prospects.
Desired Profile
  • Graduate in Finance or Economics from a reputed institution; advanced/master’s degree and certifications are a plus, but not a prerequisite.
  • Likely has 3 to 5 years of experience in sales in one or more of the following domains with an emphasis on technology: Investment Management, Trustee & Fiduciary, Asset Management, Financial Services, Capital Markets (Hedge Funds, Alternative Investment, Portfolio Accounting, Investment Operations) with a substantial customer interface element.
  • Capability to handle implementation and post‑implementation sales support would be an added advantage.
  • Understanding of software sales commercial factors such as license fees, maintenance fees, per seat, and ancillary fees as well as any other loading factors.
  • Good knowledge of the principles of accounting, performance measurement and risk would be beneficial, although training can be given. Certifications may include CFA Level 1 or equivalent, but this not a prerequisite.
  • Proven track record of sourcing financial services prospects and closing multi‑year deals.
  • Effective communication skill are essential, both laterally, externally and with the company’s executive officers.
  • Willing to work on a competitive base salary plus generous commission for success.
Other Factors
  • Highly developed presentation skills—must be able to learn and then demonstrate complex systems with ease and confidence.
  • May be multi‑lingual, such as proficient in Mandarin, Cantonese or other South East Asian languages.
  • Excellent communication skill and exposure to working with people across geographies/time‑zones.
  • Experience/confidence dealing with senior level executives at medium to large‑sized financial services companies, some of which will be household names.
  • Flexible on working hours to accommodate special business requirements.
