What you’ll do:

The role is responsible for driving project sales and business development across Oil & Gas onshore EPC projects in Singapore, Data Center projects in Malaysia, and Oil& Gas / Military / infrastructure projects in Taiwan.

The incumbent will develop and manage relationships with EPCs, consultants, owners, and contractors, promoting and specifying Eaton / approved solutions including B-Line cable management systems, hazardous area LED lighting, control & apparatus, and cable glands, from pre-specification through project execution and handover.

Business Development & Project Sales
  • Develop and execute regional sales strategies for Oil & Gas onshore EPC projects, hyperscale and colocation data centers, and industrial projects.
  • Identify, track, and manage project opportunities from FEED, design, tender, award, to completion.
  • Achieve annual revenue, margin, and project booking targets for assigned product portfolios and territories.
Specification & Technical Engagement
  • Work closely with EPCs, consultants, and end users to influence specifications and approved vendor lists (AVL).
  • Promote and specify:
    • B-Line cable ladder, cable tray, and support systems
    • Hazardous area & industrial LED lighting
    • Control stations, junction boxes, and electrical apparatus
    • Cable glands and accessories
  • Support technical clarifications, deviations, and compliance with international standards (IEC, ATEX, IECEx, UL, NEMA, IP ratings, etc.).
Project & Stakeholder Management
  • Act as the key interface between customers, internal engineering, supply chain, and project teams.
  • Coordinate bid strategy, pricing, and commercial negotiations for EPC tenders.
  • Support order execution, milestone deliveries, and customer satisfaction through project lifecycle.
Market & Regional Coverage
  • Singapore: Focus on Oil & Gas onshore plants, terminals, chemical plants, and EPC contractors.
  • Malaysia: Focus on hyperscale and enterprise data centers, EPCs, and design consultants.
  • Taiwan: Support industrial, infrastructure, and data center‑related opportunities through local partners or direct engagement.
Channel & Partner Management
  • Manage and develop distributors, system integrators, and local partners where applicable.
  • Ensure channel alignment with pricing, project focus, and compliance requirements.
Reporting & Governance
  • Maintain accurate project pipelines and forecasts using CRM tools.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, ethics, export control, and local regulations.
  • Provide regular market intelligence, competitor analysis, and strategic inputs to management.
Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related discipline.

  • Minimum 8–10 years of experience in project sales or business development within:
    • Oil & Gas (onshore EPC)
    • Data centers
    • Industrial or infrastructure projects
  • Proven track record in selling or specifying electrical products, cable management, lighting, or hazardous area solutions.
  • Strong experience working with EPCs, consultants, and end users in Southeast Asia and/or Taiwan.
  • Strong understanding of EPC project lifecycle and tendering processes.
  • Knowledge of hazardous area requirements (Zone 1/Zone 2, ATEX/IECEx) and industrial standards. Data Center project movements.
  • Commercial acumen in pricing, margin management, and contract negotiation.
  • Ability to translate technical solutions into value‑based customer propositions.
  • Strategic, results‑driven, and customer‑focused mindset.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Able to work independently in a regional role with frequent travel.
  • Comfortable engaging at engineering, project, procurement, and management levels.
