Job summary

A leading industrial automation company in Singapore is seeking an experienced sales professional. The role involves creating automation solutions, executing sales strategies, and maintaining customer relationships. Candidates should have at least 5 years of sales experience in industrial automation and possess strong presentation and communication skills. A degree in relevant engineering fields is required. The position offers opportunities to drive business growth in a competitive market.

Qualifications

  • At least 5 years' sales experience with industrial automation projects.
  • Good understanding of systems integration, industrial automation, IIoT and manufacturing operation management systems.
  • Familiarity with Sales and Proposal of various Control Systems such as PLC, SCADA, DCS is an advantage.

  • Create and Identify Automation Solutions opportunities for campaigns, services, and distribution channels that will lead to promoting sales volume
  • Create and execute sales strategy to achieve sales target
  • Present value messaging effectively to customers with solutions selling mindset
  • Develop, qualify and drive Automation business-oriented opportunities from concept to closure
  • Evaluate and prepare technical and commercial proposal by collaborating with internal teams
  • Establish, develop, and maintain positive business and customer relationships
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the Industrial Automation solutions market, key trends, the competitive landscape and enterprise use cases
  • Work closely with the team to develop solution proposals
  • Keep track of industrial, statutory and regulatory bodies requirements and updates to determine the impact on the business and assess potential opportunities
Requirements
  • Degree/Diploma in Electrical, Electronics Engineering, Control, Instrument or Mechatronics
  • At least 5 years’ Sales experience with industrial automation projects
  • Self-Driven, possess Hunter mindset with proven track records in developing and maintaining key customer relationships
  • Outstanding presentation and interpersonal communication skills with initiative and drive
  • Goal-oriented, competitive, persuasive and can work individually and in a team environment
  • Good understanding of systems integration, industrial automation, IIoT and manufacturing operation management systems
  • Those familiar with Sales and Proposal of various Control Systems such as PLC, SCADA, DCS will have added advantage
  • Strong industry knowledge and customer base in any of the industries: Manufacturing, Commercial and Industrial Building, Healthcare, Utilities, Petrochemical, Onshore and Offshore Oil & Gas
