Role Overview

The Sales Manager is responsible for driving revenue growth, managing the full sales cycle, and leading the sales team to deliver a consistent, high-quality client journey.
This role combines hands‑on client engagement with team leadership and close collaboration with designers and operational teams to ensure realistic scoping, accurate pricing, and smooth project onboarding.

Key Responsibilities
Sales Strategy & Client Engagement
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to meet monthly revenue targets;

  • Lead high-value client consultations and presentations;

  • Guide the team on understanding client needs, design preferences, budgets, and timelines;

  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with new and returning clients;

  • Improve sales scripts, consultation frameworks, and closing processes.

Quotation, Pricing & Deal Structuring
  • Oversee quotation preparation and pricing accuracy;

  • Ensure a strong understanding of renovation cost components within the team;

  • Approve pricing adjustments, discounts, and package structures;

  • Maintain healthy margins across all deals;

  • Drive strategic upselling to increase overall project value.

Sales Team Leadership & Performance Management
  • Lead, coach, and motivate the sales team to exceed KPIs;

  • Conduct regular training on sales skills, product knowledge, and design fundamentals;

  • Monitor pipeline movement, follow-up quality, and consultation standards;

  • Set KPIs, review performance, and implement improvement plans;

  • Foster a collaborative and performance-driven sales culture.

Sales Administration & Reporting
  • Ensure CRM accuracy and disciplined usage;

  • Review weekly and monthly pipeline and revenue forecasts;

  • Oversee quality project handovers from sales to operations;

  • Provide insights on sales trends, performance gaps, and process improvements.

Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Work closely with designers to assess scope feasibility and project alignment;

  • Liaise with suppliers and contractors to stay updated on materials and pricing;

  • Support marketing with insights on lead quality and market behaviour;

  • Align sales commitments with operational capacity.

Market & Product Knowledge
  • Stay updated on interior design trends, renovation pricing, and competitor benchmarks;

  • Maintain strong knowledge of the company’s project portfolio;

  • Understand renovation regulations and technical requirements (training provided);

  • Analyse client behaviour to refine sales strategy.

Requirements
  • 3–7 years of sales experience, ideally in interior design, renovation, or related fields;

  • Proficiency with CRM systems and office productivity tools;

  • Proven track record of closing high-value deals;

  • Experience managing or mentoring sales teams;

  • Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills;

  • High numerical accuracy for quotation review and approval;

  • Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple pipelines.

Nice to Have
  • Background as a senior interior design sales consultant or team lead;

  • Technical understanding of renovation materials and costing;

  • Ability to read floor plans (trainable);

  • Multilingual communication skills.
