Job description

We are searching for our next warehouse manager to in charge of receiving, warehousing and distribution operations. You will manage people, processes and systems in order to ensure goods are received and dispatched appropriately, and that productivity targets are met.

• Plan work rotas, assign tasks appropriately and appraise results
• Manage stock control and reconcile with data storage system
• Familiar with in-house software to monitor driver's delivery progress
• Liaise with clients, suppliers and transport companies
• Strong knowledge of warehousing Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
• Audit and report inventory while making recommendations on which items to order and restock
• Monitor workplace performance and lead training initiatives to improve employees
• oversee the planned maintenance of vehicles or forklift within the warehouse
• have a clear understanding of the company's policies and vision and how the warehouse contributes to these
• visit customers to monitor the quality of service they are receiving
