Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities
Business & Customer Development
- Expand the customer database by identifying and acquiring new clients.
- Follow up on sales leads and prospects, targeting to acquire these leads as new customers.
- Maintain accurate records and data related to customer accounts and shipments.
- Foster strong relationships with existing and potential customers to establish a sustainable business development pipeline.
- Develop and implement a monthly sales plan to achieve growth targets.
- Keep abreast of industry developments and trends by conducting market research.
- Collaborate with internal departments to strategize and integrate sales initiatives, ensuring seamless communication with Operations to meet or exceed customer expectations.
- Lead ECU\'s digital transformation by actively promoting and integrating digital solutions.
Day to Day Operation
- Prepare customer quotations in response to requests.
- Monitor and manage fluctuations in customer volume while addressing lost accounts.
- Design and execute effective sales campaigns.
- Supervise and support CS assistants by providing customer information and overseeing tele-calling efforts for new and existing clients.
- To review and prepare monthly performance sales performance reports.
Requirements
- Minimum educational qualification required: O level or diploma.
- Prefer with min 2 years experience in our line (NVOCC, Freight Forwarding).
- A great attitude and self motivated individual.
- Excellent written and communication skills.
- A proven track record of achieving sales targets and building customer relationships.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet sales targets.
- Maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary customer service.
- Intermediate computer skills.
