Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities
Business & Customer Development
  • Expand the customer database by identifying and acquiring new clients.
  • Follow up on sales leads and prospects, targeting to acquire these leads as new customers.
  • Maintain accurate records and data related to customer accounts and shipments.
  • Foster strong relationships with existing and potential customers to establish a sustainable business development pipeline.
  • Develop and implement a monthly sales plan to achieve growth targets.
  • Keep abreast of industry developments and trends by conducting market research.
  • Collaborate with internal departments to strategize and integrate sales initiatives, ensuring seamless communication with Operations to meet or exceed customer expectations.
  • Lead ECU\'s digital transformation by actively promoting and integrating digital solutions.
Day to Day Operation
  • Prepare customer quotations in response to requests.
  • Monitor and manage fluctuations in customer volume while addressing lost accounts.
  • Design and execute effective sales campaigns.
  • Supervise and support CS assistants by providing customer information and overseeing tele-calling efforts for new and existing clients.
  • To review and prepare monthly performance sales performance reports.
Requirements
  • Minimum educational qualification required: O level or diploma.
  • Prefer with min 2 years experience in our line (NVOCC, Freight Forwarding).
  • A great attitude and self motivated individual.
  • Excellent written and communication skills.
  • A proven track record of achieving sales targets and building customer relationships.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet sales targets.
  • Maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary customer service.
