Job summary

A logistics and relocation company in Singapore is seeking a Sales Executive with 2-3 years of experience to handle sales inquiries, prepare and negotiate service proposals. The ideal candidate should be fluent in English and Japanese to cater to corporate clients relocating from Japan. Responsibilities include conducting market research and coordinating shipments. Qualifications

  • At least 2–3 years of relevant experience in sales and/or marketing, preferably in logistics or related industries.
  • Experience in B2B sales and dealing with corporate clients is an advantage.
  • English and Japanese language skills at business level or above are required.

Key Responsibilities

(Sales Activities)

  • Handle sales enquiries from prospect customers, prepare quotations and follow up to secure bookings.
  • Conduct on-site surveys/visits (e.g. at customers’ offices or residences) to assess requirements and propose suitable service solutions.
  • Prepare and negotiate service proposals, pricing and service terms in accordance with company policies.
  • Coordinate with operations, customer service and overseas agents/partners to ensure smooth execution of shipments and relocation jobs.

(Marketing and Promotion)

  • Maintain and update customer and prospect databases (CRM) for marketing and follow-up purposes.
  • Conduct basic market research and competitor analysis to identify trends, opportunities and customer needs.
Job Requirement

(Work Experience)

  • At least 2–3 years of relevant experience in sales and/or marketing, preferably in logistics, relocation, freight forwarding or related service industry.
  • Experience in B2B sales and dealing with corporate clients will be an advantage.
  • Both English and Japanese language skills at business level or above are required to liaise with Japanese clients newly relocating from Japan.
  • Good communication skills, energetic and cheerful.
  • Able to provide attentive service and take responsibility for their work.

※During the peak season from March to May, some employees may be required to work on Saturdays in order to respond to customers.

Preferred
  • Experienced in sales or customer service in any industry preferred.
  • Possess a driving licence is welcome. Driving licences will be processed after job offer.
