Job summary

A leading hospitality group in Singapore is seeking an individual to provide administrative support to its proactive Sales Team, assisting with group bookings and enhancing guest experiences. Responsibilities include liaising with various departments, promoting hotel services, and ensuring that group contracts and bookings are properly documented.   • Handle group enquiries with guidance from senior colleagues.
  • Liaise closely with reservations and front of house team.
  • Promote products and services using suggestive selling techniques.
  • Attend meetings and training sessions as required.
Job description
FINANCIAL RETURNS
  • Administrative support to proactive Sales Team - integral collaborative effort to meet hotel’s financial goals
  • Handling of group enquiries with guidance from senior colleagues in Sales & Revenue
  • Close liaison with reservations and front of house team to deliver Great group stay experience
  • Promote Holiday Inn Express products and services using and suggestive selling techniques
  • Support and execute action plans to increase sales and associated business
PEOPLE
  • Liaise with Asst. / Director of Sales and Finance Lead for all reservations requiring credit approval
  • Attend meetings and training sessions as required
  • Attend sales related events as required & facilitation of site inspection for any walk-in (Sales)
GUEST EXPERIENCE
  • Promote IHG & Hotel’s products and services
  • Maintain a high level of product and service knowledge about IHG Hotels in our region
  • Support and facilitate reservations via Reservations Team
  • Maintain knowledge of special rates/ offers/ promotions
RESPONSIBLE BUSINESS
  • Demonstrate Awareness of OH&S policies and procedures and ensure all procedures are conducted safely and within OH&S guidelines
  • Be aware of duty of care and adhere to occupational, health and safety legislation, policies and procedures
  • Be familiar with property safety, first aid and fire and emergency procedures and operate equipment safely and sensibly
  • Initiate action to correct a hazardous situation and notify supervisors of potential dangers
  • Log security incidents and accidents in accordance with hotel requirements
ACCOUNTABILITY
  • Ensure all group quotations are properly recorded in our GRC tracker
  • Ensure all group contracts, group resume, group commissions and coach transfers are properly documented and facilitated.
  • Overall main in charge for group bookings and that includes managing of various group bookings platforms- IHG Meeting Broker/ CVENT/ TagVenue and others
  • Overall administrative in charge for annual corporate rates renewal exercise in maintaining records/ documentation/ rates loading.
  • Preparation and support of production and sales reports
