Overview
- Responsibilities include account management, regular client follow-up through on-site visits, identifying customer needs and proposing suitable logistics solutions, monitoring service quality, and acting as the first point of contact for client inquiries and issues.
- Sales Activities include managing contract renewals, negotiating service agreements, driving cross-sell/upsell opportunities, handling RFQs from headquarters or overseas offices, and preparing quotations, presentations, and supporting contract documentation.
- Coordination & Internal Communication include close collaboration with operations, customer service, and warehouse teams to ensure smooth project execution, and liaising with shipping lines, airlines, and other external partners as required.
- Reporting & Review include monitoring account performance and preparing sales reports, and participating in KPI reviews, quarterly business reviews, and client meetings.
Qualifications
- Business-level English and Japanese communication skills (due to contact with Japanese stakeholders).
- At least 1 year of B2B sales experience (logistics / freight forwarding industry preferred).
- Strong experience in client account management and follow-up.
- Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills.
- Proactive, client-focused, and able to identify and propose solutions.
- Willingness to conduct regular client visits and maintain close communication.
