Job summary

Roles & Responsibilities
Job Responsibilities
  • Drive New Business Development: Identify, prospect, and secure new accounts in cafes, restaurants, eateries, organic food stores, and specialty grocers.
  • Manage Existing Accounts: Take over a small baseline portfolio of existing café and eatery customers; maintain strong relationships and grow sales volume.
  • Conduct Sales Visits & Presentations: Meet with owners, chefs, and purchasing managers to introduce products, conduct tastings, and close deals.
  • Expand Distribution Channels: Focus on penetrating underserved segments such as HORECA (Hotels, Restaurants, Cafes), health-focused eateries, and organic food players.
  • Achieve Sales Targets: Meet and exceed monthly and quarterly sales and new account acquisition targets.
  • Market Intelligence: Provide feedback on market trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences to support business strategy.
  • Coordinate Internally: Work closely with operations, logistics, and customer service teams to ensure smooth order fulfilment and customer satisfaction.
Requirements
Experience
  • Minimum 2–5 years of sales experience, preferably in:
  • FMCG (Fast-Moving Consumer Goods)
  • <; Beverage distribution
  • HORECA / Foodservice sales (selling to cafes, restaurants, eateries)
  • Prior experience selling to F&B outlets or specialty food retailers is highly advantageous.
Skills & Competencies
  • Strong business development and prospecting skills – comfortable with cold outreach and opening new accounts.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; able to build rapport with diverse stakeholders.
  • Self-motivated, independent, and results-oriented.
  • Good negotiation and presentation skills.
  • Comfortable with regular on-the-ground sales activities (customer visits, product demos, tastings).
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
Other Requirements
  • Must be based in Singapore and willing to travel regularly for customer visits.
  • Proficiency in English is required; ability to converse in Mandarin or other local languages/dialects is a plus.
  • Valid driving license is an advantage but not mandatory.
