Job Summary
The Sales Director will lead and expand revenue growth for semiconductor-related services, with a strong focus on failure analysis, reliability testing, and advanced lab services. This role requires deep industry knowledge, strong customer relationships, and the ability to drive strategic sales initiatives with semiconductor manufacturers, fabs, OSATs, IDMs, and R&D organizations.
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Revenue Growth
- Develop and execute sales strategies to grow revenue in semiconductor failure analysis and related services
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities across IDMs, foundries, OSATs, fabless companies, and research institutions
- Drive large, complex deal cycles from lead generation through contract negotiation and closure
- Meet or exceed annual revenue and margin targets
Customer & Account Management
- Build and maintain strong executive-level relationships with key customers
- Act as the primary commercial interface for strategic and key accounts
- Understand customer technical challenges and align services to their failure analysis, yield, and reliability needs
- Ensure high customer satisfaction and long‑term partnerships
Technical & Market Leadership
- Translate customer technical requirements into commercial proposals in collaboration with engineering and lab teams
- Stay current on semiconductor technology trends (advanced nodes, packaging, SiC/GaN, reliability, FA techniques)
- Provide market intelligence and competitive insights to leadership and product teams
Team & Cross‑Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with application engineers, lab managers, and operations to ensure successful project delivery
- Mentor and support regional sales managers or account executives (if applicable)
- Contribute to pricing strategy, forecasting, and pipeline management
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Materials Science, Physics, or related field
- 10+ years of B2B sales experience in the semiconductor industry
- Proven experience selling failure analysis, reliability testing, or advanced lab services
- Strong understanding of semiconductor devices, manufacturing processes, and FA methodologies
- Demonstrated track record of closing high‑value technical sales
- Excellent negotiation, presentation, and communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Master’s degree or PhD in a relevant technical field
- Existing network within semiconductor fabs, OSATs, and R&D organizations
- Experience with global customers and multi‑region sales
- Familiarity with advanced packaging, power devices (SiC/GaN), or automotive semiconductor markets
