A global recruitment firm in Singapore is seeking a Compliance and Risk Management Specialist. This role involves establishing compliance programmes, overseeing risk assessments, and acting as the point of contact with regulatory authorities. Responsible for establishing, executing, and maintaining compliance and risk management programmes to ensure company operations align with applicable local and international regulations, company Group policies, and internal standards. This role drives policy development, employee awareness, risk monitoring, audit activities, and regulatory reporting to strengthen ethical governance and corporate culture.
Act as the primary point of contact with regulatory authorities, monitor regulatory developments, and ensure accurate and timely statutory reporting.
Develop, review, and roll out enterprise risk management frameworks and compliance policies to support business objectives.
Perform periodic risk assessments, identify emerging risks, and track key risk indicators (KRIs) to mitigate potential exposure.
Conduct internal audits and compliance reviews to evaluate adherence to internal controls, processes, and regulatory requirements.
Design and deliver compliance and ethics training programmes, fostering a culture of accountability and integrity across the organisation.
Lead investigations into compliance violations and risk incidents, ensuring corrective actions and follow-up measures are effectively implemented.
Prepare and present risk and compliance reports to senior management, highlighting key findings, trends, and mitigation plans.
Collaborate with IT security teams to implement and manage risk and compliance systems for effective monitoring, reporting, and data tracking.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain, or a related field.
At least 5 years of relevant work experiences in business environment risk management and compliance
Self-motivated individual with a high degree of integrity, drive, and sense of urgency
Strong collaboration skills dealing with various stakeholders
Excellent written, oral, and presentation skills to convey complex information
