Job summary

A construction project management firm in Singapore seeks a qualified individual for a civil engineering position. Responsibilities include overseeing civil, structural, and geotechnical works, conducting inspections, and ensuring regulatory compliance. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of experience in Cut & Cover tunnelling, possess relevant certifications, and hold a Diploma in Civil and Structural Engineering. Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience in relevant fields.
• Possess a valid RTO cert by JAC of IES / ACES as QSS Singapore.
• Possess a valid RTO (Tunnel) cert by JAC of IES / ACES as QSS Singapore.

Responsibilities

• Review all Authority's and Contractor's drawings.
• Provide relevant endorsements required by authorities.
• Supervise all civil, structural and geotechnical works.
• Ensure contractor obtains necessary permits and clears to work.
• Conduct site inspections to enforce corrective actions.
• Coordinate with contractors, agencies, and consultants.

Job description

Responsibilitiesand Duties

• To reviewall Authority's and Contractor's drawings
• Toprovide all relevant endorsements required by the relevant authorities
• Superviseall civil, structural and geotechnical building works, both permanent andtemporary
• To ensurethat contractor had obtained all necessary permits and clearance to work
• Toconduct site inspection and ensure that contractor(s) implement correctiveactions and timely preventive / mitigation measures to protect surroundingstructures
• Tocoordinate the contractor, AC, QP(D), relevant agencies, including interfacingcontractors and consultants etc for the works
• Toreview, evaluate and assess all formwork structure, formwork support systemsetc
• To reviewand supervise safety, environmental and health matters
• Tosupervise the installation of instrumentation
• Tosupervise sanitary and plumbing installations, pump drainage works etc
• Toreview, evaluate and assess the monitoring of instrumentation andinterpretation of the results and provide analytical results / presentations
• To reviewContractor's design and supervise all works

Qualificationsand Requirements

• Min 3years of experience in Cut & Cover tunnelling or supervision ofinstallation of monitoring instruments, collation of monitoring data and use ofsoftware for presentation of monitoring data for analysis and interpretation.
