Job summary

A leading consultancy firm in Singapore is seeking a Resident Technical Officer (RTO) to supervise civil, structural, and geotechnical building works, ensuring compliance with various regulatory standards. The role requires a proactive individual capable of performing shift work and managing projects with high proficiency in MS Excel and PowerPoint. Applicants must meet Ministry of Manpower WS requirements, involving Work-At-Height and Lifting work certifications. This position is critical to maintaining the project's integrity and adhering to authorities' guidelines.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in MS Excel and PowerPoint.
• Competent in Ministry of Manpower WS requirements including Work-At-Height, Lifting work, Permit-To-Work.
• Energetic and able to perform shift work or late-night supervision.

Responsibilities

• Supervise all civil, structural, and geotechnical works.
• Ensure compliance with PUB/LTA’s requirements and other authorities.
• Perform project management duties.

Job description

• The RTO Shall supervise all civil, structural and geotechnical building works, including structural elements for architectural work, building services, electrical and mechanical (M&E), and specialist engineering works for compliance with the PUB/LTA’s requirements and other authorities’ and agencies’ requirements for permanent works and temporary works.
• The RTO shall be independent and energetic to perform permanent shift work or late night supervision and project management work.
• The RTO shall be competent with all necessary Ministry of Manpower WS requirements e.g. Work-At- Height (WAH), Lifting work, Permit-To-Work (PTW) etc.
• The RTO shall possess high proficiency in MS Excel, Power-point and maintaining of proper daily work progress record.
