The department of CTVS provides a wide range of specialized services including Aortic, Endoscopic (MICS), Anaortic bypass-, Uniport VATS-, Wire skills (Vascular), Simulation training programs, and Research exposure in a National University Hospital, a top medical center of excellence and Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine, National University of Singapore, one of Asia’s best medical education and research institutions. The Cardiothoracic Intensive Care Unit caters to cardiac, thoracic and vascular patients in addition to offering quarternary ECMO services island wide.
The Resident Physician would be part of the multidisciplinary team providing day-to-day patient care in Cardiothoracic Intensive Care Unit, assisting in invasive and non-invasive investigations or procedures. The Resident Physician would also be assisting in all aspects of pre-operative and post-operative patient care including assistance in day-to-day ICU ward rounds and on call duties.
The candidate will have the opportunity to equip her/himself with specialized knowledge and skill, along a discussed and well-planned development plan, and roadmap.
