The ideal candidate should have 1 to 2 years of hotel industry experience, focusing on customer service and upselling room facilities. Responsibilities include handling telephone enquiries, processing reservations, and ensuring a high standard of service to guests and corporate accounts.

Qualifications

  • 1 to 2 years’ experience in the hotel industry is preferred.
  • Experience in Front Office/Reservations is a plus.

Position Summary

Reservations Executive is responsible for handling and managing the whole reservations process and to assist the Reservations Manager in maximising room sales revenue for the hotel by up-selling and promoting of various room facilities while maintaining a consistently high standard of customer service. Provide reservations support and guidance to Reservations Agents.

Responsibilities
  • Operate and manage Reservations Sales function of the Hotel
  • Update guest profiles for reference when needed
  • Handle telephone enquiries, process reservations, upsell rooms and enter data of reservations received
  • Maximise potentials in hotel’s occupancy and revenue whilst protecting Hotel's business mix
  • Provide efficient and courteous telephone service to guests and callers to create a favorable image of Hotel
  • Provide comprehensive and accurate information to internal and external customers
  • Build good rapport with business associates and internal customers
  • Establishes and maintains good relations with corporate accounts travel agencies, airlines and other booking sources
  • Perform any other works as and when assigned by the management
Experience
  • 1 to 2 years’ experience in the hotel
  • Front Office/Reservations working experience in similar class hotel will be a plus point
