Cardiovascular disease is the world’s no.1 killer. The Cardiovascular Systems Imaging and Artificial Intelligence (CVS.AI) lab conducts in-depth assessments of cardiovascular disease amongst at-risk populations in Singapore and internationally to uncover new knowledge of complex patterns of cardiovascular disease. We are seeking a highly motivated research team member with an interest in cardiovascular medicine and cardiac data. This will involve organising and coordinating large-scale studies and data management. There will be many opportunities for collaboration with world-renowned researchers at national and international levels.

We are looking for a research fellow with a medical background and interest in cardiac imaging, risk prediction, and AI. You will be part of the CVS.AI team, reporting to the Principal Investigator. The team will work with local and global research institutions and multiple industry partners. You are responsible for the progress of the research projects under your care and are expected to demonstrate research expertise and capability, such as in the area of cardiac CT imaging. You will assist the Principal Investigator in leading and supervising junior researchers and be involved in research collaborations.

Requirements:

  • Master’s Degree, Medical Degree or PhD in Medicine, Biology, Life Sciences, or Computer Science, or equivalent
  • Experience in clinical medicine/cardiology/biological/life sciences or related research field is preferred
  • Ability to work independently as well as in a team setting
